Yoga 101

Looking to slow down the pace of life, create space to let go,  stretch deeply, relax and leave feeling balanced and restored? This is the class for you!          

 Bodhifit's Gentle yoga class is in a room heated to 80-85 degrees, which is comfortable and allows for increased flexibility and movement. Perfect for beginners and yogis of all levels who are looking for a gentle class with a slow flow that focuses on form, movement, stretching, balance and relaxation. A soft nourishing and meditative atmosphere is created through the lighting of candles making the experience that much more relaxing.


 

 

Gentle Yoga Poses

We will explore the basic Vinyasa flow yoga movements in sun and moon salutations, incorporating relaxed breathing, easy twists, warrior (Virabhadrasana I & II) poses, heart opening poses such as cobra (Bhujangasana) and supported bridge (Setu Bandha Sarvangasana), balancing poses such as tree (Vriksasana), hip openers, gentle inversions and a guided relaxation in Shivasana for a complete experience. 

Props will be used ( and supplied) to support the body in restoring fully.
